“Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.”

-Warren Buffet

Simple investments are the big bang to success.

I’m not talking about books, or stocks, or people. I’m talking about investments that will never leave you when pandemics, emotions, and people run you off the track.

Here are my 3 investments:

  • shoes
  • dumbbells
  • pen and paper

Here is why I choose these 3 investments and why they work:

Tiny hinges swing big doors.

With shoes, I go for long walks to untwist my crusty pretzel thinking.

With dumbells, I can test the waters of my body.

With pen and paper, I dump out bullshit, record my actions, and talk with the Divine.

Life isn’t easy. With simple investments, life is easier.

Do you really need to turn to another app, newsletter, book, or website?

The answer is in you.

“And He said to me, “write the vision CLEARLY on clay tablets so the one who reads it will run. The vision is for the appointed [future] time.””

Journal with specifics.

And you will be in awe.

Top surface coal mining is crazy work.

Operating 400 tons of steel has it’s advantages if you know how to play it towards your goals.

Yes, it’s hard work.

But there is a different way to see it.

  1. Buy an auxilary cord
  2. Pick a specific topic that makes you excited
  3. Listen

You can pick anything you want to know more about. Podcasts, audio books, networking records…

You name it.

That’s how I turned a piece of a equipment into a university on wheels.

Here are some more examples.

  • Cooking
  • Marketing
  • Fishing
  • Copywriting
  • Public speaking
  • Teaching
  • Mental health
  • Fitness

Keep chipping at the rock and you’ll be amazed at your gains.

Become an expert in any topic by leveraging your time.

P.S. You can do this in your commute to work.
